Re: PLANNED PROTEST AGAINST UPGRADE FEES

We bring to you reverential greetings from the secretariat of National Association of Nigerian (NANS) Joint Campus Committee Delta State, the apex leadership body governing all students’ schooling in all citadel of learning in Delta State. The attention of NANS/JcC has been drawn to an unguarded, blasphemous, benighted letter drafted by the Students Union President, DELSU one Comrade Joshua Ojaide and Justice Ajede saying NANS/JCC is controlled by elements that can not be traced as students of any higher institution in Nigeria, and disassociating themselves from the Association due to COVID 19 levy that was forcefully implemented recently, describing such levy as internal affairs.

For the records, Covid-19 is not an internal affair, and any anti-students policy such as extortion will never work in a State where NANS exist

On this note, the Public should note the following:

A. That Joshua Ojaide does not have the interest of Nigerian students at heart, hence is declared an enemy of the Struggle. and therefore seize to be a Senator in NANS

B. Joshua Ojaide and Justice Ajede have been banned from any students’ Gathering/Function outside DELSU, if seen by any student, they should be treated like miscreants they truly are.

C. No students in DELSU should pay the said extortion fee titled COVID-19 levy.

D. NANS will never honour any meeting with the management of DELSU and we have given them just 2 days starting from this moment to revert their stand on this issue of COVID-19 levy or get ready to host over 1.7 Million Nigerian Students in their campus situated at Abraka.

On this note, I urge all students in Delta State to prepare for this, as the Welfare of our students is our utmost priority.

We also call on all Stakeholders, and Student leaders of various capacities to join us in this fight.

Until Man Dies, the Struggle Continues

Yours in Struggle;
