UTME: ERISCO FOODS CEO GIFTS 2023 BEST STUDENT N2.5 MILLION CASH PRIZE

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Erisco Foods Limited, Dr Eric Umeofia, has disclosed a cash gift of N2.5m to Kamsiyochukwu Umeh, the highest scorer in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

The 2023 best candidate, Umeh, who is a student of Deeper Life High School, Mowe, garnered a total score of 360 in the examination.

Giving a breakdown of the result, she scored 99 in Chemistry, 98 in Mathematics, 97 in Physics, and 66 in English.

Speaking with The Punch’s correspondent on Friday, Umeofia said he was touched by the student’s interview with the news outlet on Saturday.

The President also revealed that cash rewards will be given to the administrator of the school, the four subject teachers, and two other best students of the school.

Umeh has also been offered a scholarship by the Anambra State Government to study any course of her choice at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
