Lagos Free Zone Celebrates Lasu’s Best Student in Transport
Kabiru Olakunle, top-performing student in the School of Transport and Logistics at LASU, praised by Lagos Free Zone for his achievement. The organization sees his success as evidence of the positive impact of the Tolaram Science Challenge on education in the region. Lagos Free Zone’s Managing Director expressed confidence in Olakunle’s story inspiring others and announced the upcoming seventh edition of the competition for secondary schools in the Ibeju-Lekki axis.
Lagos Free Zone, the organization that organizes the Tolaram Science Challenge (TSC), a science competition for schools in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State, has praised Kabiru Olakunle for being the top-performing student in the School of Transport and Logistics at the recent convocation ceremony of Lagos State University (LASU).Olakunle had participated in the TSC in both the 2016 and 2017 editions. Dinesh Rathi, the Managing Director of Lagos Free Zone, recognized Kabiru Olakunle’s achievement as the top-performing student in his department, highlighting the significant impact of the Tolaram Science Challenge (TSC) on educational advancement in the area. Rathi praised Olakunle as a deserving ambassador of the science challenge, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at fostering interest in science subjects among students in local communities. Rathi emphasized that Olakunle’s success story would serve as inspiration for others to strive for excellence. Rathi also mentioned that during his time in secondary school, Olakunle was selected to represent Magbon-Alade Senior Grammar School in the TSC in both 2016 and 2017.
Additionally, Rathi announced that the seventh edition of the science competition will commence on Friday, July 7, involving secondary schools in the area.
