UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSSUKA [UNN] RELEASES 2023 ACADEMIC CALENDAR, SCHEDULES EXAMINATION, MATRICULATION & CONVOCATION

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released their academic calendar for 2023 resumption of 2021/2022 Academic Activities.

From the Academic calendar released it can be seen that Matriculation Ceremony will hold on the 25th of February, 2023 And First semester exam commences 6th March,2023 and convocation ceremony on 21st march, 2023.

FIRST SEMESTER OF 2021/2022 SESSION

DECEMBER 2022

Saturday 03 – Arrival of students

Monday 05 – Registration begins for all students

Tuesday 06 – Lectures begin

Orientation for freshmen begins

Friday 09 – Orientation for freshmen ends

JANUARY 2023

Tuesday 03 – Christmas break ends/students return to campus

Wednesday 04 – First semester lectures continue

Friday 20 – Registration ends

– Last day for submission of second semester results to the

Department. Processing of results begin in the Department.

Monday, 23 – Late registration begins

Tues. 24 – Fri. 27 – Departmental Board meets to approve second semester results

FEBRUARY 2023

Friday 03 – Last day for submission of second semester results to the

Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begin in the Registry

Friday 10 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

Late registration ends

Tues 14 – Fri 17 – Faculty Board meets to approve second semester results

Wednesday 22 – Senate meets to consider and approve 2020/2021 Degree results

Friday 24 – Lectures end

Monday 27 – Revision begins

MARCH 2023

Friday 03 – Revision ends

Monday 06 – Departmental examinations begin

Friday 10 – Departmental examinations end

Monday 13 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin

Saturday 25 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

END OF FIRST SEMESTER AND STUDENTS VACATE CAMPUS

SECOND SEMESTER OF 2021/2022 SESSION

APRIL 2023

Friday 14 – Students return to Campus

Monday 17 – Registration begins for all students

Tuesday 18 – Lectures begin

Friday 28 – Registration ends

– Last day for submission of first semester results to the Department.

Processing of results begin in the Department

MAY 2023

Monday 01 – Late registration begins

Tues 02 – Fri 05 – Departmental Board meets to approve first semester result

Friday 12 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Registry

(Examinations). Processing of results begin in the Registry

Monday 19 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

JUNE 2023

Tues 06 – Fri 09 – Faculty Board meets to approve first Semester Result

Friday 16 – Lectures end

Monday 19 – Revision begins

Friday 23 – Revision ends

Moday 26 – Departmental examinations begin

Wednesday 28 – Senate meets to consider and approve first semester results

Friday 30 – Departmental examinations end

JULY 2023

Monday 03 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin

Saturday 15 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

END OF 2021/2022 SESSION AND STUDENTS VACATE CAMPUS

Monday 31 – Last day for submission of First Semester results to the Department.

Processing of results begins in the Department

AUGUST 2023

Tues 01 – Fri 04 – Departmental Board meets to approve Second Semester Results

Friday 11 – Last day for submission of second semester results to the Registry

(Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry

Friday 25 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

SEPTEMBER 2023

Tues 12 – Fri 15 – Faculty Board meets to approve Second Semester results

Wednesday 27 – Senate meets to consider and approve 2021/2022 Degree results..
