Secondary School Boy Kills Mate During Cult Clash Between Lagos Schools in Ato Awori

A 16-year-old boy, identified as Adewale Ayuba, has been arrested by The Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) for allegedly killing his mate during a cult clash in Ijanikin. It was gathered that the incident occurred on 21st, October during a cult clash between Oto Awori Secondary School and Government Secondary School boys.

The suspect was said to have stabbed one Abdulahi Wasiu on the chest killing him on the spot. According to the Public Affairs Officer of the agency, Olawale Afolabi, on getting to the scene, the suspect had fled. The deceased was taken to the hospital.

After much investigation, the suspect has been reportedly caught and is now in the police custody at Ijanikin for proper investigation
