PROF. GBOLAHAN ELIAS IS LASU NEW CHANCELLOR, NOT VICE CHANCELLOR

The Lagos State University wishes to place on record that Prof. Gbolahan Elias, SAN, is the new Chancellor of our university, not Vice Chancellor as is being misrepresented in some media platforms.
The general public is therefore advised to take note of this in order to avoid bing misled by ill-researched media stories and articles.
Professor Gbolahan Elias, SAN was recently installed by the Governor of Lagos State and Visitor to the University, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as the 5th Chancellor of the institution, succeeding Justice Adesola Oguntade (Rtd).
For the avoidance of doubt, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM, remains the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University till 11th January, 2021.
