Oftentimes, young graduates complain about having to go for the one year compulsory service in Nigeria and many of them only join the program reluctantly. However, rather than complain and waste the year away, some other people have decided to make a mark in the society they were posted to. Perhaps this is one of the things the government had in mind for the scheme to achieve. Iyanuoluwa’s kind act to the Pila community did not go unnoticed and she was rewarded by the people with an equally touching gesture. Iyanuoluwa has set an example for other corps members in different parts of Nigeria and she has no doubt raised the bar high and also shown that a year is enough time to achieve something good that would last for a long time.
