ASUU STRIKE: ASUU DISMISSES KEBBI STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY [KSUSTA] RESUMPTION DATE, ORDERS STAFF TO REMAIN AT HOME

The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, (KSUSTA) chapter of ASUU on Wednesday, August 24, denied suspending the ongoing national industrial action embarked on by the academic union.

 

 

According to the Kebbi state chairman of ASUU, Comrade Yale Ibrahim, the strike can only be called off at the national level. He directed all staff members to ignore the resumption directives and remain at home until the National body of ASUU suspends the strike.

 

Recall that the university’s academic secretary, Abdulazeez Salihu, in a circular dated 24th August 2022, had announced that academic activities will resume at the University.
