CIRCULAR TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

PUBLIC HOLIDAY

I write on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. IGE, to inform all members of staff that the Federal Government has declared Monday, 3rd October, 2022 as public holiday to mark the 62nd Independence anniversary celebration.

The Vice Chancellor has, therefore, directed that the University be closed down for official duties on Monday, 3rd October, 2022 except those on essential duties. All members of staff are requested to note that official activities resume on Tuesday, 4th October, 2022.

On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, I wish the entire members of staff a happy and peaceful Independence anniversary celebration.
