The management of zamfara state university has approved a new academic calendar for 2024/2025 Acadernic Session.
Below is the new calendar signed and released by the Registrar of the University.

Registration of New Students: Monday, 2nd December 2024 to Saturday, 11th January 2025 (6 weeks).
Registration of Returning Students: Monday, 16th December 2024 to Saturday, 11th January 2025 (4 weeks).
First Semester Lectures: Monday, 13th January 2025 to Saturday, 19th April 2025 (13 weeks).
Mid-Semester Break: Monday, 3rd March 2025 to Saturday, 8th March 2025 (1 week).
First Semester Examinations: Monday, 21st April 2025 to Saturday, 10th May 2025 (3 weeks).
Second Semester Lectures: Monday, 26th May 2025 to Saturday, 30th August 2025 (13 weeks).
Mid-Semester Break: Monday, 7th July 2025 to Saturday, 12th July 2025 (1 week).
Second Semester Examinations: Monday, 1st September 2025 to Saturday, 20th September 2025 (3 weeks).
Beginning of 2025/2026 Academic Session: Monday, 10th November 2025.
