The management of university of UYO has approved a new academic calendar for 2024/2025 Academic Session.
Below is the new calendar signed and released by the Registrar of the University.
Key dates in the calendar include:
January 8, 2025: Lectures commence for both year one and year two students (including direct entry students).
January 27 – 31, 2025: Orientation for new students (year one and year two direct entry).
March 24 – April 11, 2025: First semester examinations for both year one and year two students.
April 28, 2025: Second semester commences for both year one and year two students.
July 28 – August 15, 2025: Second semester examinations for both year one and year two students.
August 18 – September 12, 2025: Long vacation for both year one and year two students.
