UNICAL Announces Sales of Admission Forms for UNICAL-JUPEB Programme*
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the commencement of sales of admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (UNICAL-JUPEB) programme.
This intensive 10-months programme guarantees admission into 200 Level in various faculties, including College of Medical Sciences, Law, Engineering, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Sciences, and Arts/Humanities.
According to a release by the Registrar of the University of Calabar , Mr. Gabriel Egbe, indicates that to be eligible, applicants must possess a minimum of five O’LEVEL credits passes at not more than two sittings in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, including Mathematics and English Language. No JAMB or POST-UTME is required for admission into this programme.
Speaking about the programme and its success, the Director UNICAL-JUPEB, Dr. Paschal Nyiam, stated that the programme is one of the fastest and surest ways to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 Level in any undergraduate programme in UNICAL and other JUPEB-affiliated Universities in Nigeria and abroad.
According to the Director, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Obi, is very passionate about the programme and has assured that all UNICAL-JUPEB students who meet the requirements and score the required points in JUPEB final Exams will be admitted into 200 Level in their chosen degree programme.
Dr. Nyiam also announced that the Directorate has put in place measures to make the UNICAL-JUPEB programme more interesting and easier for candidates to progress through.
