UNIVERSITY OF BENIN [UNIBEN] ACTIVATES PORTAL FOR PAYMENT OF COMMITTAL FEES FOR THE 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION
It is no longer news that the university of Benin, UNIBEN portal for payment of acceptance fee and online clearance has been activated for 2022/2023 academic session. Therefore Uniben Tech Infotainment will be providing you with the next procedure and other important informations about the school system.
Firstly, login with your new student ID and password. Then fill all the informations requested in your personal data form. Failure to do this would result to the student not taking his/her ID card as these informations are required in processing of your student identity card.
Students who have been given admission but are yet to accept it cannot have their kofa page created. Therefore the concerned students are expected to accept their admission on JAMB portal first.
The payment of acceptance fee is compulsory for all newly admitted students before they can proceed with their online clearance. Payment of acceptance fee is made through the uniben kofa. Incase you’re thinking you have to take your acceptance fee to the school or a bank in uniben. Uniben acceptance fee is sixty thousand. And eighty thousand for students admitted into medical sciences.
The deadline for the payment of uniben acceptance fee has not been officially announced but uniben is always considerate as enough time would be given for students to pay for their acceptance fee. I therefore advice all newly admitted students to pay their acceptance fee on time if it’s within their capacity.
After successfully payment of acceptance fee students are required to upload the relevant documents for their clearance. Which includes birth certificate or affidavit of age declaration, WAEC or NECO/NABTEB certificate or statement of result for those who just concluded their O’level whose certificates has not been officially released by their examination body, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. Your result scratch card should be uploaded to enable your clearance officer confirm the result you uploaded. Local government of origin or affidavit of local government of origin, JAMB result slip with passport, Admission letter (institution copy), acceptance letter, guarantor’s letter, affidavit of good conduct, affidavit of non membership of secret cult, A red background passport at the side of the JAMB biometric picture.

Once you’re done with uploading of your relevant documents kindly request clearance and stay calm. There is no editing of uploaded documents after that. if there is any error with your uploads your clearance officer can contact you by any possible means, either through, kofa, email, SMS or phone call but preferably Kofa. And you will be logout to correct the error and request clearance again. Therefore you’re advised to check your kofa from time to time.
Students who are efficiently cleared online can then proceed to payment of school fee and are eligible to book uniben hostels, get their eligiblity slip, register their courses online and to meet their course adviser to validate their courses upon resumption.
