Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into Certificate and Diploma courses in Theatre, Film and Media Studies.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate in Theatre, Film and Media Studies
- Credit passes in the SSCE or GCE “O” Level Examination, NECO or its equivalent in 4 subjects, including English Language and Literature-in-English (a Pass in Literature could be accepted on the condition that it must be passed at Credit level before graduation) at one sitting or
- Credit Passes in Teachers’ Grade II Examination, including English Language and Social Studies. Credit in Literature-in-English will be an added advantage.
Waivers shall be given to mature students (not less than 30 years of age) with other certificates but who have three years’ experience in theatre, film and media practice and with a recommendation letter from a renowned professional or organisation. However, they will be expected to have the necessary Credit passes before getting their certificate.
- A good grade in the entrance examination and audition.
Diploma in Theatre, Film and Media Arts
- Credit passes in the SSCE or GCE “O” Level Examination, NECO or its equivalent in 5 subjects, including English Language and Literature-in-English at not more than two (2) sittings or
- 5 Credit Passes in Teachers Grade II Examination including English Language and Social Studies. Credit in Literature-in-English will be an added advantage.

METHOD OF APPLICATION [LOGIN PROCEDURE]
- Part-time forms with brochure can be obtained on-line through the following step by step procedure:
- Visit the TASUED admission portal by typing https://my.tasued.edu.ng on the web browser.
NB: Only https://my.tasued.edu.ng has the legitimate and authentic platform for the part-time application form.
- Click on the APPLY NOW button and then click on the Prelim Study application form.
- Create account and complete the online application form by providing the required information.
- Submit your form by clicking submit button.
- Print out an identification slip containing your colour passport photograph. The printed slip will serve as candidate’s identification/admission card for the screening test.
NOTE: Any false information provided by any candidate shall render the application invalid and disqualified.
SCREENING DATE:
- Screening shall be conducted on the 13th December 2021 for all applicants at TASUED ICT Centre, Ososa Campus of the University by 9:00am.
- Candidates’ participation in the screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for entry into the university. The result of the screening exercise should be checked on the university admission portal a week after the screening exercise.
