STRIKE: TINUBU INTERVENES, PUSH FOR AN END TO ASUU STRIKE
The Presidential candidate of All progressive congress , ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU has today promised to push for an end to 5 months old ASUU strike.
TINUBU confirmed this, when the leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students’ paid him a courtesy visit in osogbo.
He said “We initially thought of using back channels to engage the leadership of ASUU but now President Buhari has thrown down the Gauntlet and given us the opportunity for direct intervention in the ASUU crisis.”
It could be re called that FG and ASUU have been at loggerhead over demands since February. Both ASUU and FG have, thereafter failed to reach a common ground.
