The Lagos State Government (LASG) on Thursday gifted the best graduating student at the Lagos State University (LASU), Nwosu Isioma Sybil, with a sum of N10 million.
Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu ably represented by the deputy Governor, Gov. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat made the announcement at the 28th Convocation of the Lagos State University, which held at the Buba Marwa Auditorium in LASU.
Team Campusinfo reports that Isioma graduated from the Biochemistry Department with a cumulative CGPA of 4.93.
Team Campusinfo reports that some eminent stakeholders, Otunba Olufemi Pedro and Brigadier General Muhammed Buba Marwa Rtd. were awarded honorary doctorates while Prof. Joseph Abayomi Olagunju was elevated to a Distinguished Professor.
“Congratulations Nwosu Isioma, well done! Your hard work has brought you this far, the reward for hard work is more work. I believe there are so many Isioma in here, I want you to be inspired, LASU is a school of excellence.
