ONDO STATE GOVT ANNOUNCES BURSARY, SCHOLARSHIP, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIGENE STUDENTS FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION.

The Ondo State Scholarship Board is pleased to announce that applications are now open on https://odssb.org.ng for Scholarships, bursaries, and financial assistance to support students in their academic pursuits for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

ELIGIBILITY

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

• Applicants must be students of Ondo State origin who are in their second (2nd) year or above in their course of study to be eligible for undergraduate scholarship awards.
• Each prospective applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or 4.0 (on a 5.0 scale) for university students.
• Polytechnic students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Ondo State students enrolled in Nigerian Law Schools, medical students undergoing clinical training, and physically challenged students in tertiary institutions across the country are eligible for financial assistance.

BURSARY AWARD

• Students of Ondo State origin enrolled in Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, and Colleges of Health Technology across the country are eligible to apply.
• Students enrolled in part-time and sandwich programmes are not eligible.

EXPANDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

In addition to the state-sponsored scholarships and bursaries, the Ondo State Scholarship Board now offers personalized support services to help students access funding from private organizations, foundations, and NGOs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Personalized Assistance: Students can now register for individual support in their quest to secure scholarships, bursaries, or loans from non-governmental sources.
• First-Come, First-Served: Due to the expected high volume of registration, these services will be provided strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Success-Based Commission:
• Where the Board successfully secures a scholarship, bursary, or loan for a candidate, a small percentage of the secured amount will be paid to the Board as administrative charge.
