NSUK announces new Deputy Vice-Chancellors

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has announced the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration.

Professor Suleiman announced the appointments at the 108th Regular Senate Meeting of the University on Thursday, 6th July 2023.

The Newly appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics is a Professor of International Relations and Diplomacy in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Science.

Professor Modibbo has held several administrative positions within and outside the University, which include Chairman of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, from 2012 to 2017, and Dean, of Students Affairs from 2019 to date.

The Newly Appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration is a Professor of Industrial Sociology, at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences. Professor Lagi until his appointment was the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and currently a Governing Council Member, representing Congregation. Congratulations to Professors Modibbo and Lagi.
