NAOSS First Female President, Comrade Mary Ogunga has commended the Bemore initiative of Chief Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, Wife of Ondo State Governor, on Bemore Summer Boot Camp, particularly the 2022 edition which came With laying of foundation for the permanent site and an assurance of sustainability of the program, we have often express fear and doubts about the sustainability of the BEMORE summer boot camp but this further step of the First Lady confirms her dedication towards capacity building of the girl-child.

 

She Stated that, it’s not longer news that Bemore is an empowered foundation initiated by the Office of the First Lady of Ondo State, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu for the girll child in Ondo State regardless of age, political and religious affiliations to breed the girls who would of course grow into women with a difference.

 

It is a platform where the girl-child in Ondo State are given an opportunity to be heard and their social well-being become a great necessity to the State.

 

The 2022 edition features Leadership Training, Tie and Dye, Coding and Business Card Designing, Making of Reusable Sanitary Pads, Breast Self Examination, Solar Panel Building and Installation, Use of Ms excel, Head Gear Tying, ICT Class, Takwendo Martial Arts for Self Defense among others.

Comrade Ogunga has hailed the foundation, noting that the initiative would help this generation of girls to build capacities in Solar Energy, ICT and the advancement of STEM.

The President further applause the motherly love of the First Lady not only for initiating the program but also for her consistency towards the program.

Comrade Mary Ogunga, added that the achievements of the first lady are landmarks that will leave an indelible footprint in the sand of time .
