LASUSU ELECTION: AFTER 25 YEARS OF BARRENNESS, FACULTY OF EDUCATION PRODUCES STUDENT’S UNION PRESIDENT

The Students of Lagos State University,Ojo (LASU), Lagos have elected new Students’ Union Executives for the 2020/2021 academic session. The election, held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, was conducted through the e-voting system across the university campuses.

Announcing the election result after the voting period, the Students’ Union Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Chairman,Hon. Areh Olabowale declared Uthman Badmus Oladipupo popularly known as BADECIOUS as the winner of the SUG president with 3,437 votes.

Campusinfo gathered that the newly elected SUG president is a 300l student of political science education,faculty of education.

Speaking after announcing the outcome of the election, the IEC Chairman, Hon. Areh Olabowale thanked God for the success of the election inspite of challenges faced before, and during the election.
