LASU VC APPROVES REOPENING OF ONLINE LACACA CLEARANCE FOR NEW INTAKES, GIVES FINAL DEADLINE

FINAL TIME LACACA: FINAL WINDOW FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has graciously approved that a final window of opportunity be given to admitted candidates who are yet to commence their Central Admission Clearance (LACACA) to upload their documents in a *Special LACACA* (S-LACACA) operation.

The concerned students were identified as being offered admission but failed to do the needful, which includes;

a. Update of O’level results on JAMB CAPS;

b. Acceptance of Admission on JAMB CAPS; and

c. Change of Course on JAMB portal;

All the above operations are to be done by the candidates as they had earlier been informed by the DICT via direct mail, sms, and several notifications on their dashboards.

Others who are yet to regularise their name issues are also advised to do so immediately.

The approved procedure for the S-LACACA is as follows:

1. Concerned candidates should visit the LACACA portal online via *https://lasu.edu.ng/central_admission_clearance/student* and upload all required documents as listed on the portal.

2. They should proceed to the admission office to submit all uploaded documents for further processing.

3. All submissions by candidates will be treated on or before *Thursday, 28th March 2024*.

4. Cleared candidates can check the matric number portal on the website for their matric number on *Friday, 29th March 2024* from 10.00 am

5. Rejected candidates will be notified by mail and are to see the admission officer for further advice.

6. Students who already have matric numbers should take the opportunity of the extended registration window to register for courses.

The above information is for candidates who have not commenced the LACACA operations.

This approved procedure is a compassionate window by the university while urging candidates and students to forthwith adhere to deadlines for processes as stipulated by the university.
