…Praises him for running with her vision

As the two-year tenure of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Wahab Olukorede Elias, ends on Thursday, 25th August, 2022, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, has congratulated him for successfully completing his tenure of office.

Prof. Olatunji-Bello noted that the Professor of Sociology has finished on a high having made very positive and lasting contributions to the university in his tenure as DVC Academic. She also appreciated Prof. Elias for receiving her vision and running with it in the last 11 months since her assumption as the Vice Chancellor of the University.

She added that he had served commendably and therefore thanked him on behalf of all members of the Lagos State University community.

The VC has further directed him to submit his handover notes to the Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor’s Office while wishing him success in his future endeavours.
