LASU RELEASES PROPOSED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all the newly admitted & returning students of the Lagos State University (LASU) that the Senate of the institution at its meeting has released proposed first semester academic calendar for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

The proposed LASU academic calendar can be seen below;

HARMATTAN (FIRST) SEMESTER 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION

1. Resumption and registration of fresh students (100 level): July 19 – July 30, 2021 (Duration: 2 weeks)

2. Resumption and lectures for 100 level to 500 level students: August 2 – October 22 (Duration: 12 weeks)

3. Revision: October 25 – October 29 (Duration: 1 week)

4. Examination: November 1 – November 26 (Duration: 4 weeks)

5. Grading and uploading of results: November 29 – December 10 (Duration: 2 weeks)

6. Departments and Faculty consideration/Uploading of corrections and ICT processing of results: December 13 – December 17 (Duration: 1 week)

7. Senate meeting for consideration of results: December 23 (Duration: 1 day)

8. End-of-the-Semester break: December 27, 2021 – January 14, 2022 (Duration: 3 weeks)
