In this regard, the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja is starting its SCHOOL OF ANAESTHETIC TECHNOLOGY for the training of Anaesthetic Technicians. The School is now calling for applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to train as Anaesthetic Technicians to be admitted into its 3 year part-time programme for the 2022/2023 academic session. Health Institutions can also sponsor candidates for the course which is strictly non-residential.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION (APPLICANTS MUST HAVE/POSSESS)
Five (5) O’level credits in WASC/NECO/SSCE at not more than 2 sittings and must be within the last five years, English and Mathematics are compulsory while possession of one credit in either Physics, Biology or Chemistry is required.
LENGTH OF COURSE
The training is for 3 years (Part-time)after which successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate in Anaesthetic Technology.
METHOD OF APPLICATION

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION:
Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, for screening purposes. Successful candidates will be invited to provide their original copies of relevant certificates for screening during an oral interview.
