*Qualifications for the position of Professor*
1. Candidates for the position of Professor must possess Ph.D in relevant discipline *OR* Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical Certificate or its equivalent;
2. Candidates must have over six (6) years Post Ph.D qualification;
3. Candidate must have been an Associate Professor for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication;
4. Candidates must have a minimum of twenty-five (25) academic publications in recognized journals of local and international repute;
5. Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant institution.
*Qualifications for the position of Associate Professor*
1. Candidates for the position of Associate Professor must possess Ph.D in relevant discipline *OR* Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical Certificate or its equivalent;
2. Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years Post Ph.D qualification;
3. Candidate must have been Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication;
4. Candidates must have a minimum of twenty (20) academic publications in recognized journals of local and international repute;
5. Candidates must have a minimum of seven (7) years teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant institution.
*Qualifications for the position of Senior Lecturer*
1. Candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer must possess Ph.D in relevant discipline *OR* Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical Certificate or its equivalent;
2. Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in recognized journals of local and international repute;
3. Candidates must have been Lecturer I for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication;
4. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant institution.
*Qualifications for the position of Lecturer I*
1. Candidates for the position of Lecturer I must possess Ph.D in relevant discipline *OR* Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical Certificate or its equivalent;
2. Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) publications in recognized journals of local and international repute;
3. Candidate must have been Lecturer II for a minimum of three (3) years before the date of this publication;
4. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant institution.
*Qualifications for the position of Lecturer II*
1. Candidates for the position of Lecturer II must possess Ph.D in relevant discipline *OR* Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical Certificate or its equivalent;
2. Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) publications in recognized journals of local and international repute;
3. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching and research experience in a University system or relevant institution.
