At the policy meeting of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) held on Saturday, 24th of June, 2023, a correspondent with TEAMS CAMPUS INFO gathered that the commission set the minimum admission benchmark scores for Universities as 140, Polytechnics as 100 and COEs as 100
The JAMB cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 admissions have been announced. his was part of the decision that was reached at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria taking place at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, today June 24th, 2023.
JAMB fixed the minimum scores for candidates to secure admission into universities in Nigeria at 140. The Board also pegged the minimum cut off marks of Polytechnics at 100, while that of Colleges of Education was fixed for 100 as well. However, the institutions are at liberty to decide individual cut-off marks but no institution will be allowed to admit any candidate who scores below the the stipulated benchmark.
