The management of federal university of technology,owerri has approved a new academic calendar for 2024/2025 Acadernic Session.
Below is the new calendar signed and released by the Registrar of the University.

Key dates:
Harmattan Semester:
New students arrive on January 12, 2025.
New student registration begins on January 13, 2025.
Old students return and begin registration on January 17, 2025.
Lectures begin on January 20, 2025.
Harmattan semester examinations begin on March 31, 2025.
Harmattan semester ends on May 16, 2025.
Rain Semester:
Lectures begin on June 2, 2025.
Rain semester examinations begin on August 25, 2025.
Rain semester ends on September 19, 2025.
