FEDERAL UNIVERSITY GUSAU (FUGUSAU) RELEASES APPROVED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all students of the Federal University Gusau that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER

Sunday, 28th July, 2024: Resumption for first semester

Monday, 12th August, 2024: Commencement of first semester lectures

Saturday, 16th November, 2024: Second semester lectures ends

Monday, 11th – Friday, 15th November, 2024: Submission and Release of Continuous Assessment Results

Monday, 18th November, 2024: First semester examination starts

Saturday, 14th December, 2024: First semester examination ends

Monday, 16th December, 2024 – Saturday 29th December, 2024: First Semester Break

SECOND SEMESTER

Monday, 30th December, 2024: Commencement of second semester lectures

Monday, 10th – Monday 17th February, 2025: Add/Drop exercise

Saturday, 5th April, 2025: Second semester lectures ends

Monday, 31st March, 2025 – Friday, 5th April, 2025: Submission and Release of Continuous Assessment Results

Monday, 7th April 2025 – Saturday, 3rd May, 2025: Second semester examination

Monday, 5th May, 2025 – Sunday, 8th June, 2025: Second Semester Break

Thursday, 5th June, 2025: Approval of Results by Senate.

The 2024/2025 Academic Session shall begin on Monday, 9th June, 2025.
