FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSE (FUD) GETS NUC ACCREDITATION FOR 7 NEW PROGRAMMES

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given full accreditation to seven academic programmes of the university. This was contained in a memo addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof, Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed and signed by the Acting Director of Accreditation of the NUC, Engineer Abraham Chundusu.

The granting of full accreditation status to the programmes followed the accreditation visit to the universities by a team from the NUC in October/November, 2024.

The programmes are as follows;

1. B.SC Insurance

2. B.Forestry

3. B.sc Computing

4. B.Ed Islamic Studies

5. B.Ed Library and Information Science

6. B.Ed Primary Education

7. B.Sc. Biotechnology.

According to the report, the full accreditation status is valid for five years.

The Vice-Chancellor thanked the NUC for the positive result from the accreditation visit. He commended staff of the Faculties, Departments and the Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance for their dedication and commitment which made the full accreditation possible.
