FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, KANO GETS APPROVAL TO OPERATE AS A UNIVERSITY

This is to to inform the entire members of the College community and the general public that the Federal Government has approved the conversion of Federal College of Education, Kano to Federal University of Education, Kano. The approval was conveyed vide a letter Ref. No. FME/TE/CU/432/VOL. 1/132 dated 14th August, 2024.

The Federal Government further approves the appointment of Dr. Sadi Mohammed Sirajo as the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Kano. Other Principal Officers were also asked to’ continue to discharge their duties on acting capacity.

In view of the recent development, members of staff are urged to continue to uphold the highest standard of academic excellence through dedication to duty and change of attitude towards work for the development of education in Nigeria.
