AKWA IBOM ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATE FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Education has announced that the academic activities for private and public primary and secondary schools for the 2022 /2023 academic year will commence on the 12th of September, 2022.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet, on Monday, September 5.

According to the statement, heads of Schools are expected to resume at least 3 working days before the resumption date, for a Pre-resumption meeting with their staff to further prepare for the success of the session, as directed by the State Government.

It further warned that the government will not condone lateness on the part of Teachers or Students, and loitering in the Streets and around school premises will not be tolerated.
