ABSU SCORES 100% IN THE 2023 NUC ACCREDITATION EXERCISE
Abia State University has been adjudged as one of the best Universities in Nigeria in Academics and Research.
In the just released result of the October/November, 2023 Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation of Academic programmes in Nigerian Universities, Abia State University scored one hundred percentage (100%), having full accreditation in all the four (4) Postgraduate and fifteen (15) Undergraduate programmes presented for accreditation.
The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, attributed the success of the University to the exemplary leadership and huge support of the Executive Governor and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR.
He also appreciated the Governing Council, Senate and Students for their sacrifices and cooperation and promised to sustain the enviable academic trajectory in the University.
This success is coming soon after the 100% recorded at the 2022 NUC accreditation exercise and seven (7) First Class Honours achieved by graduates of the Faculty of Law of the University at the 2023 Nigerian Law School Bar Examination.
