IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION (IAUE) ANNOUNCES ADMISSION INTO NEWLY APPROVED PROGRAMMES FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform the UTME and Direct-Entry candidates who have not yet been admitted, but chose Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as first choice and have also registered for the 2024/2025 admission exercise, and those who did not originally apply for the admission exercise in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, and still wish to pursue a degree programme in the University to apply for admission into the newly approved programmes of the University:

A. Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B.A)

1. Faculty: Humanities Programmes:

❖ Linguistics
❖ Philosophy
❖ Mass Communication
❖ Peace and Conflict Resolution

B. Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)

2. Faculty: Management Sciences Programmes:

❖ Hospitality and Tourism Management

C. Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)

3. Faculty: Natural and Applied Science Programmes:

❖ Geophysics
❖ Industrial Chemistry
❖ Statistics
❖ Software Engineering

D. Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)

4. Faculty: Social Science Programmes:

❖ Petroleum Economics and Policy Studies
❖ Public Administration

1.0 ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION

The following categories of JAMB UTME candidates are eligible to apply:

a. Candidates who chose the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as their first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME and scored a minimum of 150 with relevant O’level combinations including English and Mathematics.

b. Candidates who did not choose Ignatius Ajuru University as their first choice but wish to study in Ignatius Ajuru University and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME with relevant O’level combinations including English and Mathematics.

Candidates in the second category 1(b) above, must do a Change of Institution to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education through JAMB website(www.jamb.gov.ng). After Application, the candidates will be transferred to the newly approved programmes.

2.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application is strictly online on the University portal. Candidates are to make a Non-refundable payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only, using Visa,Verve or Mastercard debit Bank cards for the application form. Candidates are to read these instructions completely before applying.

3.0 PROCEDURE:

NEW CANDIDATES:

Visit the University Website http://www.iaue.edu.ng On ADMISSION Menu, click on “Undergraduate Studies Click on “2024/2025 UTME/DE Screening Registration.

On the page that appears, click on “Register for 2024/2025 Session UTME/DE Screening”.
Click on the UTME Registration button, a form will appear.
Fill in the form completely and click on submit.
An E-mail containing your login details will be sent to you via your registered email address. Please ensure you use a valid email address during registration.
Your login details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
If you have forgotten your password or unable to note it from the registration screen, kindly login to your email address for your login details

REGISTERED FOR SCREENING BUT NOT ADMITTED YET:

1. Login to your profile on the University portal. Select your preferred new course of Study from the University portal. Check the IBASS for admission requirements before choosing your Course of Study.

2. Thereafter continue to monitor your admission on JAMB CAPS to know when you have been transferred to the new programme or offered admission.

4.0 DIRECT ENTRY APPLICANTS

All Direct Entry candidates desirous of seeking Admission into any of the above listed programmes may immediately apply. Direct Entry candidates must ensure that their A’level result are verified by NIPEDS.

5.0 COMMENCEMENT OF ONLINE APPLICATION

The Online application will be open from Monday 13th January 2025 on the University’s portal https://enterpriseschoolsportal.iaue.edu.ng

6.0 DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

The deadline for submission of application is Friday January 24th, 2025.

a. Ignatius Ajuru University of Education will not be responsible for any unsuccessful applications as a result of invalid email address(es) and telephone number(s).
