SALE OF APPLICATION FORMS
Applications are invited from qualified and interested members of the public for admission into the 11th Regular Course Degree Programmes of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State. The online application portal will be opened for the period of six weeks from 14th October, 2024 to 18 November 2024, where prospective applicants are required to complete the online application forms and submit same within the specified period.Admission into the Academy is opened to both male and female Nigerians of good character.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
2. The Admission requirements for the Online application are as follows:
1. Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN), JAMB result (2024 only) with not less than 180 marks, and must have selected Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as first choice in the JAMB form.
i. Applicants must possess a minimum of 6 credits in not more. than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit passes
in English and Mathematics. iii. Applicants must be aged between 17-21 years by 31 October, 2024.
iv. Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for male and 1.64m tall for female.
v. Applicants must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for male only).
vi.All Applicants must not be married or pregnant at the time of admission
vii. Applicants must have a valid email address and phone number.
viii.SSCE statement of results or certificates relating examinations taken before 2021 will not be accepted.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
3. Interested Applicants are advised to go to the Nigeria Police Academy’s Website: www.admission.polac.edu.ng in order to obtain or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code. The RRR can be used to make payment of non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N5500.00) only (N2,000 for POST UTME Examination is included) through any Commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria. This will allow the applicant to fill in the online application form. In addition, applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their SSCE, Birth and Certificate of Origin.
Applicants must print their completed online form, guarantor form and submit same at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
4. APTITUDE TEST
All applicants will be made to undergo an Aptitude Test (Computer Based) at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, ICT Centre, on a date to be communicated later.
5. AUTOMATED PHYSICAL SCREENING EXERCISE
1. Invitation of applicants that meet up with the CBT mark
requirements for automated physical screening exercise which will be conducted in Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, on a date to be communicated later.
II. Applicants to present the originals of the following documents in the Automated Physical Screening Exercise:
Educational Qualifications Birth Certificates/Declaration of Age
Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government. recognized Hospital.
Evidence of good character from village/district head of the applicant.
Indigene Certificate signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
Guarantor Form from a Public Servant not below GL13, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP or its equivalent from the Armed Forces and other Paramilitary services.
6. AUTOMATED MEDICAL SCREENING
Applicants who scale through in the Aptitude Test (Computer Based) will be invited for Automated Medical Screening at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
7. The successful Applicants would further undergo Automated Interview/Selection.
AUTOMATED INTERVIEW/SELECTION EXERCISE
8. All successful Applicants will be notified via their email-address and SMS.
9. Training of prospective Applicants will commerice at the Academy on a date to be communicated later.

11. NATURE AND DURATION OF THE COURSES
Applicants admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy, degree programmes will undergo a combined Academic and Police training for a minimum period of five years leading to the award of Bachelors Degree and commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police II (ASP).
