This is to invite ail candidates who sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and made Benue State University as their first choice of institution to register for the Post- UTME Online Screening Exercise.
REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
i. Candidates must have scored at least 150 and made Benue State University their first choice of institution or changed from other institutions to Benue State University as first choice;
ii. Candidates must have five (5) relevant O’ level credit passes (to include Mathematics and English Language) at NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS (UTME ONLY) and scored a minimum of:
- 150 and above for programmes in the faculties of Arts, Education, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, Science, Social Sciences and Technology and Industrial Studies
- 180 and above for programmes in the Faculty of communication and Media Studies and for B.Sc. Human Anatomy and B.Sc. Human Physiology
- 200 and above for BN. Nursing Science, B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science, B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science
- 220 and above for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and all programmes in the Faculty of Architecture.
iii. Candidates for both UTME and DE admissions must mandatorily upload their O’ level and higher qualifications respectively on JAMB CAPS before registering for the University’s screening exercise.
PROCEDURE FOR THE 2024/2025 PRE-ADMISSIONS REGISTRATION AND SCREENINGE
i. Visit http://www.bsum.edu.ng
ii. Under APPLICATIONS, click on APPLICATIONS Post UTME/DE;
iii. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on Verify;
iv. Once your status is verified, click on “Proceed” to access E-Payment platform to initiate and make payment for PUTME either by Cash at Bank or online using any of the displayed
V. payment channels; All candidates are required to pay the sum of two thousand naira (2000) only for the screening;
vi. After payment, visit http://www.bsum.edu.ng click on Admissions Menu; under ADMISSIONS submenu, enter JAMB Registration Number to complete Biodata and upload documents; and
vii. Candidates are advised to await further directives on next steps of their admissions as they continue to check the University website for updates.
Note: It is mandatory that all candidates should upload their ‘O’ level ‘A’ level results on JAMB portal;failure which, they shall not be considered for the admission.
The registration exercise is to last for one month from the date of this publication
