Chrisland University has recorded another milestone as it secures full accreditation in all the 11 programmes presented for the November/December 2023 National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS FAAS, made this known on Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 after receiving the official result from the National Universities Commission.
According to her, the programmes that earned full accreditation include Accounting, Business Administration, Criminology and Security Studies, Economics, Political Science and Psychology, all from the College of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences.
Others are Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences
Public Health from the College of Basic Medical Sciences also earned full accreditation.
The Vice-Chancellor in her further remarks attributed the remarkable success to the University’s commitment to quality, excellence and high academic standard.
She expressed gratitude to the BOT, under the chairmanship of High Chief, Dr. Winifred Awosika OON, for the provision of funds and all necessary support, the Governing Council led by the Distinguished Prof. Ayodeji Olukoju, FNAL, for its quality leadership and Management, staff and students of the University for their invaluable contributions, dedication and focus.
In her concluding remarks, the Vice-Chancellor reiterated the University’s resolve for excellence and value added in all ramifications. She returned all glory and honour to God who crowned the efforts of the University with such wonderful results.
