OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY [OOU] ANNOUNCES MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye (OOU) had announced the Matriculation ceremony date of the Newly Admitted Students for the 2021/2022 session.

This was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the University’s Registrar and directed to Staff, Students and faculty officers dated 2nd of November, 2022.

The Newly Admitted Students according to the Internal Memorandum are admonished to visit their respective faculty offices for collection of their Academic robes.

COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS BY FRESH STUDENTS FOR 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION MATRICULATION CEREMONY

The 2021/2022 Matriculation ceremony for all fresh students has been scheduled to hold on Monday, 7th November, 2022 at 11:00am in the OGD Hall, Main Campus.

In view of the above, all Faculty Officers are expected to collect Academic Gowns for all their fresh Students from the Directorate of Students’ Affairs from Tuesday, 2nd November, 2022.

To this end, each Fresh Student is expected to make online payment of the sum of One Thousand Naira (#1000.00) and obtain Receipt for the Collection of the Academic Gown at their various Colleges/Faculties.

After the Matriculation ceremony, each Faculty shall be required to return the following to the Directorate of Students’Affairs on or before Friday, 11th November, 2022.

All the Academic Gowns collected Comprehensive lists of Students who collected the Academic Gowns- Original Copy of the receipts as evidence of payment made by the students

Please, note that failure to return the Academic Gowns as at the stipulated date will attract a sanction.

It would be appreciated if the memorandum is given the utmost priority it requires.
