The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Wednesday finally admitted to errors which affected the performance of students during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The Registrar of the Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede admitted to this during an ongoing press briefing in Abuja.
“What should have been a moment of joy has changed due to one or two errors,” Oloyede said.
The UTME is a critical prerequisite for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
It tests candidates in four subjects, including the compulsory Use of English, with the other three drawn from their proposed field of study.

My complaint has to do with my jamb center and my UTME result .
Firstly, on the day of my jamb UTME exam my center experienced malfunctions and later glitches for example my English questions I could not answer questions 6 to 15 not only me but everyone we told the invigilators about it they said they would report the issue to jamb HQ. Also, while we were writing our exams the computers shutdown but later rebutted and I know and believe something went wrong but what could we do time because time was wasting the countdown continued and our complaints fell on deaf ears cause nothing was done about it . And last year I scored over 230 and this year over 130 it’s a lie something went wrong I beg Jamb to look into this before 20th of this month cuz I do not want another year to puree into the drain
